Do you have a passion for building .NET web applications that are used for the greater good? Do you enjoy being involved with and contributing to all phases of the software design and development process? Do you consider yourself a data nerd who cares about the purpose of the data being collected as well as the application itself?

Professional Data Analysts (PDA) is an independent consulting company made up of statisticians, evaluators, and developers that work with departments of health in states across the country to evaluate public health programs. The projects you will be working on include medium to high-complexity .NET applications that use cutting-edge technologies to track health education courses, students, medication inventory, and much more. The systems we build are used by thousands of individuals to collect data from various public health programs, report on their efficacy, and manage various facets of the programs. You will work together with other smart and passionate people on the development team to create, maintain, and improve .NET applications.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Produce, clean, well-written, efficient .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code that implements functional requirements
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of common OOP, data, and UI concepts where applicable
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Stay current on technology and seek out better, more efficient ways to solve technical problems
  • Be an active member of the team by contributing to code and solution discussions

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience with .NET and SQL Server software development
  • 1-2 years of experience developing web applications using ASP.NET
  • Proficiency with C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with team members as needed
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
